Across more than a decade of attending SXSW, I’ve relied on the festival to stay current with innovation in tech, film, music, and culture. I’ve also contributed professionally—both working with SXSW and executing on high-impact brand activations. Notable highlights include:
2018 SXSW Mercedes Activations
The SXSW Mercedes activation was a massive roll-out of experiences, learning sessions, company networking and automobile demos that put on display the forward thinking design strategy of Mercedes. I was an onsite producer with our team, as we managed everything from the House of Smart to the me Convention activations at Palm Park to special networking opportunities for startups looking to partner with their Innovation Labs. We also put a smart car into a huge inflatable bubble and drove it down the infamous 6th street.
Mercedes Smart Car
The launch of the Mercedes Smart Car rolled down 6th street in Austin, Texas in a giant bubble to show mobility can live in a tiny container, very comfortably. We also produced other activations including music and panel sessions.
2010 SXSW Youtube Live Studio
I managed talent and influencer relations with the casts of MacGruber and Kick Ass, CEO's of FourSquare and Drupal and musicians including the White Ghost Shivers and many more. I also directed and produced the execution of a multi-camera video production team to produce Youtube and Website interviews.
